hidden-hunger-mapTogether with leading academic institutions, Sight and Life has developed a Hidden Hunger Index and maps, which highlights the critical issue of hidden hunger using existing data on anemia due to iron deficiency, vitamin A deficiency, and stunting (used as a proxy indicator for zinc deficiency).

The Hidden Hunger Index is a ranked index of countries affected by multiple micronutrient deficiencies and are updated on a regular basis. The index and maps are an advocacy and accountability tool to show the extent and progress of addressing hidden hunger in countries or regions.
