Penn State faculty member for the past 25 years and was recently named ‘Distinguished Professor’ in the Nutritional Sciences department this past December. John was a well-respected colleague with a genuine desire to provide the highest quality teaching and research opportunities to both graduate and undergraduate students. He had an unparalleled commitment to science, his colleagues, and his students.
