64 In September 2010, following completion of my coursework and dissertation, I finished my MSc in Community Eye Health (CEH) at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank my sponsors, who enabled me to attend the course and undertake my dissertation work. I have returned to Tanzania, assuming my responsibilities as a lecturer at Muhimbili university and an ophthalmologist at Muhimbili National Hospital. I also coordinate the Childhood Blindness Prevention Initiative at Muhimbili, and the Vision 2020 links program between Muhimbili and Guys-St Thomas Hospital, uK.
