Back to Overview

Helpless Rehabilitation Society is a project that reaches pre-schoolchildren, between 2–6 years of age, that come from indigenous, underprivileged groups of Nepalese carpet factory workers in Kathmandu. In a country where almost half of the children under 5 years of age are stunted, the project ensures that each child is provided with a nutritious daily meal and also supports the education of their mothers on good nutrition and its importance for child health, growth and development. Sight and Life is proud to support the Helpless Rehabilitation Society.
