An elevator pitch is a critical part of the entrepreneurial process. As competition for research and investment funds increases, young scientists will need to effectively articulate their ideas, and do so in a persuasive and precise manner. At the Micronutrient Forum 2016, held in Cancun, Mexico, Sight and Life organized an elevator pitch contest on disruptive ideas to stimulate interest and dialogue, especially among students, on micronutrient innovation and entrepreneurship.
