I grew up in between two contrasting panoramas. Living during the week in one of the biggest cities in the world, Mexico City, and spending weekends and holidays in the countryside. I experienced the traditional and simple way of living from one side of my family and, on the other side, the complex urban and chaotic way of living. Since then, I have faced divergent situations that nowadays, after my professional background, I realized that they correlate with the double malnutrition burden.
I studied a Bachelor’s in nutrition and a master’s in public health because I connected with the relevance of biological and social interaction.
I have been working for eleven years in the field of nutrition business and corporate communication. I supported brands to create scientific substantiation of health claims and develop nutritional profiling opportunities using nutritional insights. I have led nutrition programs using different communication approaches and science-based digital marketing. I have also been working as a project manager for nutritional programs and educational programs dedicated to nutritionists.
Since my childhood, I have always had the drive to become a better person and professional. That’s why I’m passionate about working at Sight and Life; I can contribute with my corporate experience to build bridges with science-based initiatives. At the same time pursue my personal goal to assist others in improving biological, social, environmental, and economic determinants through impactful innovations and partnerships.
