Bayard graduated in Business Administration and worked over 25 years in Corporate Finance assignments across Asia, USA, and Europe. His career has focused on scaling and expanding business operations, with oversight of supply chains, accounting, financing, infrastructure development, and commercialization readiness.

Over the course of his career, Bayard has developed deep expertise in the healthcare sector, with more than two decades of experience in commercial-stage biotechnology companies serving patients with significant unmet medical needs.

In his most recent role, in addition to his core finance responsibilities, Bayard volunteered to negotiate and implement commercial agreements with selected partners in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). These agreements enabled patient access in the region for the first time to treatments for a severe eye disease.

  • Core areas of interest: Enable and steer business operations and scale-up, empower individuals by coaching and sharing expertise, contribute to deliver solutions for malnutrition on the ground, to those in need, ensure sustainability through funding and operational efficiency. 
  • Core qualifications:  Master of Science in Business administration, minor in accounting from University Paris Dauphine. 
  • Past organizations: BNP Paribas, Mazars, AFP, and various biotechnology companies operating in rare orphan diseases, oncology, ophthalmology, renal, gynecology (Genzyme Sanofi, Alexion Astra Zeneca, Baxter, TesaroBio GSK, Apellis Pharmaceuticals).
