Born and raised in Rwanda, Innocente has a passion for serving and helping vulnerable people, especially women and children. An Agronomy graduate (Bsc.), Innocente went to Israel for a professional internship in Livestock production technology and development. This allowed her to provide a wider range of interventions in agriculture value chains and development-related areas.

She has worked in the private sector (agriculture cooperatives), with local and international NGOs (USAID/ in Huguka dukore akazi kanoze access project). Aninnovative woman in agri-entrepreneurship, Innocente prioritizes engaging women and youth in small businesses to generate income. This transitioned her to the role of City Coordinator for the NICE project in Rwanda. She believes that nutrition contributes more in raising a strong future generation.
