Karim Gharib holds a degree from the Higher Institute of Management of Tunis and has more than 18 years of experience in accounting and financial management. With a strong background in multinational manufacturing environments, he has built a proven track record in financial governance, compliance, and operational excellence, supporting organisations to improve performance and achieve sustainable growth.
Throughout his career, Karim has held roles ranging from auditor and chief accountant to senior finance leadership positions. He has developed strong expertise in financial reporting, IFRS, US GAAP, internal controls, ERP systems, and process improvement.
Karim combines strong analytical skills with operational insight to drive financial performance, strengthen governance, and improve organisational efficiency.
At Sight and Life, Karim supports the organisation’s finance function by producing accurate reports on budgets, grants, and financial statements for review by the Leadership Team, ensuring visibility on funding needs and proper accounting of funds received. He verifies invoices and payment requests, ensures accurate recording of transactions, and supports the Director of Finance and Accounting in preparing timely monthly cash forecasts and financial reports.
