Mathilda supports work on research, partnerships, the Nutrition In City Ecosystems project, and ideation projects related to Stage 1 of Sight and Life’s new strategy. She holds a BSc in food science and an MSc in human health and nutrition.
When Mathilda’s bachelor’s thesis took her to Malawi to study and measure the iron status of young children, it opened her eyes to the challenges of conducting clinical trials in resource-poor settings and drove her to work in the development sector. Before joining Sight and Life, she completed internships with Nestle’s R&D department and Product Technology Center, as well as DSM’s Dietary Supplement marketing team.
