THE OPPORTUNITY
  • We are seeking a dedicated Program Associate to support maternal and child nutrition initiatives in the Philippines. The successful candidate will work closely with the Country Program Manager to coordinate multistakeholder partnerships, support evidence-based program implementation, and facilitate engagement with government agencies and development partners.
  • The role involves supporting administrative, operational and technical support in the implementation of multiple projects in the Philippines. The role will include report writing and monitoring and evaluation of selected project’s activities.
  • The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in project coordination and management for health and nutrition projects. The candidate must have demonstrated field level experience for tracking and monitoring of projects with supporting role in communicating and managing various stakeholders.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Coordinate with government agencies, development partners, and implementing organizations.
  • Support development and documentation of program frameworks and assessment tools.
  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings and maintain engagement tracking systems.
  • Conduct literature reviews and compile evidence-based resources.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and technical documentation.
  • Support project monitoring, site visits, and field assessments.
  • Assist with partnership development and organizational accreditation processes.
  • Provide administrative and operational support for program activities.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Public Health, Development Studies, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in program coordination, project support, or research assistance.
  • Strong experience working with government and private institutions in the Philippines.
  • Proven ability to coordinate complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skillsin English and Filipino.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools.
PREFERRED SKILL
  • Experience in nutrition related projects or public health programs.
  • Strong background in report writing and stakeholder coordination.
  • Familiarity with the Philippine health and nutrition sector.
  • Experience in project monitoring and evaluation.
  • Field level and national level experience will be considered an asset.
