For all forms of malnutrition, the rates are on the rise worldwide. Malnutrition is the leading cause of death of children globally, taking more than 3 million lives each year. And, 3 billion people, more than one-third of the world population, are held back by inadequate diets. Behind these statistics are real people whose lives could change with access to nutritious foods.
